What's surprising is how light it is and how comfortable it feels to wear, like you're being wrapped up in it. The carefully selected high-quality fabric has a silky sheen and a natural drape that further accentuates the beauty of the design. The small, streamlined collar prevents the shoulders from appearing unnecessarily large. The back style features a tuck, a signature of deres outerwear, which creates a beautiful sway with every movement and is comfortable to wear. The subtle gray color scheme on the back of the collar and cuffs adds a touch of deres flair to this piece. Loro Piana, a top Italian textile manufacturer
This time, we have used only carefully selected Super 130's Merino wool from Loro Piana, which has a beautiful balance of thickness.
"Super" is a ranking of the fineness of the fiber, and the higher the number, the finer and higher quality the fiber.
At Loro Piana, skilled weavers and finishers meticulously manage everything from adjusting the thread tension and fine-tuning the loom settings to finishing the fabric after weaving. The company manages everything from purchasing raw wool to making the yarn, weaving the fabric, and finishing in-house, and its quality control standards are recognized worldwide. For this reason, even if raw wool is used under the same conditions, there is said to be a difference in the beauty and durability of the finished product when woven by a kuchikuchi or a piana.

[Fabrics used in the 20th collection]
This beautiful fabric is made from 100% Super 130's wool. Crafted using fibers as thin as 17 microns, this twill weave creates a fabric that is soft and drapes beautifully. Twill weave features long threads that are visible on the surface, making it more reflective and creating a more natural sheen than plain weave.
In ultra-fine wools like Loro Piana, this sheen creates a silk-like appearance. It also creates a supple elasticity throughout the fabric, making it less likely to wrinkle and retain its shape even after wearing. The woven fabric is then shaved very finely to create a silky finish.
The wool is sheared, the fuzz is removed, and the surface is then finished through a process called clear cutting, which makes it smooth like a mirror. This ensures that the light is reflected evenly, highlighting the deep luster and color, and making it even smoother to the touch.
